The Barrows, it's where our story begins, but the Barrows is certainly more than just Wrenn's home, it is a refuge for those who fled the wilds after Dak the Strongclawed's invasion of Avallon City. Guarded by the Keep, The Barrows lives safely away from danger or harm, though often it is thought many in the Barrows live ignorantly to the rest of the land. Many within the wilds against Dak's regime believe those in the Barrows to be in more danger to Dak than they, because ignorance can be a double-edged sword.

Wrenn, Sprock, and Madeline find themselves in trouble when they stumble upon Fenrieg's Den, but Fenrieg wasn't always the leader of Hennhorne's fearsome Wolfpack. After arriving in Hennhorne to establish an outpost for King Dak, Fenrieg defeated Dannon to take control of the pack. Now, Fenrieg humiliates Dannon to ensure the former leader remembers his place.

It was often said that those who enter the Hennhorne Woods did not exit. Much of Hennhorne remains a mystery, though the wise always adhere to the main path, never to wander. Lucky for Wrenn, Sprock, and Madeline that they met the mage owl Eowel. Eowel took refuge deep within Hennhorne after Dak's siege of Avallon City, for she knew only fools would seek her there. However, secrets deep within the woods' thickets remain that even Eowel will not test.

When Eowel took refuge in the Hennhorne Woods, she found a clearing of land, next to a beautiful waterfall. She determined this would be her home, forever to reside until the day when the war against Dak began. Her spirits certainly lifted when she sensed the presence of Wrenn, Sprock, and Madeline enter the woods as they journeyed away from the Barrows. The time had come . . .

Sweet, succulent Denberries line the length of the Denberry River, and this would be the path for Wrenn, Sprock, Madeline, and Eowel to lead them to Moon Lake. The Denberry River runs through Hennhorne's entirety, ending on one side at Moon Lake, and meeting the Western Sea at the other end.

Tex 24_edited.png

Moon Lake is the oldest and largest body of water in Avallon. With a rich history, its stories are endless, though troubled times means nowhere within the wilds of Avallon is safe. Dak the Strongclawed used this to his advantage, choosing a hillside near the lake as the home for his largest portal yet. Moon Lake is also home to over one hundred different species of fish!

The first defense of the Western Realm, and the strategic focus of our story, The Dividing Wall serves to protect the passageway through the Mooncrest Mountains, dug by Avallon's original pioneers. With Eowel's fortifications to protect the passageway, two years the Wall was built as others defended the mountain against Dak's attacks from the Eastern Realm. Today, the Dividing Wall is home to a large force, their Captain, Pharaoh, commanding from a plush cushioned chaise.

Tex 24_edited.png

Before Avallon, there was the Mooncrest. And before the Mooncrest came to know its name, its snowy peaks rested above the clouds, looking down upon the rolling hills and lush plains below. But though the Mooncrest stands above all, many do not know of the secrets that lie beneath; dark secrets... The length of the Mooncrest stretches across the entire land of Avallon, beginning at the southern coast and splitting the northern Tundra Realm. To journey across the Mooncrest's entirety would easily take one a year to complete.

Though Lake Chestnut's renown does not match that of Moon Lake, it proves a vital resource for the Eastern Realm. Not only does Lake Chestnut provide the town of Wilhorne with water, but it also proves to be a pristine fishing spot for locals seeking a leisurely day. Many will grab their poles and enjoy a day of fishing and swimming, but beware; Lake Chestnut's depths travel beyond that of Moon Lake's. Many things lurk within the depths...

Tex 24_edited.png

Wilhorne is mostly known as the town of Rogue Vagrants. Safely behind the town's walls, citizens of Wilhorne reside in mostly thatched roof homes, many choosing to fight with the Rogue Vagrant force. Though, no safe haven is too far from danger. Within a day, Dak the Strongclawed could be breathing upon the town's walls.

Tex 24_edited.png

The island city; the seaside power, and what once resembled a city all in Avallon desired to live within. Avallon City was founded by the true King of Avallon, King Walthrup, and designed to be a location for wealth, prosperity, and freedom. For years, Avallon City was the heart of Avallon, until Dak the Strongclawed invaded with his force of coyotes. Now, the city lies ransacked and ruined; standing, but lifeless. Who will return the once great city to its former glory? Avallon City once served as the primary port for all imports, specifically tropical fruits and rare, prime meats. Though Dak has intercepted many of these ships and trade routes, Rogue Vagrants have managed to reroute some ships, receiving imports off the coast near Wilhorne, and transporting them throughout the land.

Tex 24_edited.png

Treachery lies within the Avallon Sea, at least that's the story Wilhorne's deep sea fishermen will tell you. They claim a strange presence lies beneath the waves, one to shake even the bravest to their core. What could lie within the depths of the Avallon Sea? What dangers linger within its cold, dark chambers?

Tex 24_edited.png

It was often said that no one who entered the Hennhorne Woods exited alive. Much of the woods is a mystery, and to wander off the main path is certain doom, though Wrenn, Sprock, and Madeline had nothing to fear after finding the mage owl, Eowel. After Dak the Strongclawed invaded Avallon City, Eowel took refuge in Hennhorne, for only the foolish would look for her there. But secrets lie deep within the thickets of the woods that not even the mighty owl would test.
